The story behind Art of Clothes

The idea for Art of Clothes didn't come about overnight, but after weeks of thinking, sketching and endlessly worrying about what I really wanted to create. I knew I wanted to do something different, something beyond fashion. It had to be simple, but with a deep meaning. It had to carry the essence of art, even in the smallest details. But how could I capture that in a clothing brand?

I started with the design. I didn't want an abundance of details or loud prints, but something simple, something pure. Something that would radiate strength in its minimalism. A simple line, a single color, a design that seemed basic at first glance, but on closer inspection told a story—something that touched on the essence of art.
But then came the most difficult challenge: the name. For weeks I played with words, combining ideas, but nothing really felt right. Until, one night, the penny dropped. 

It was so simple, so obvious, that I wondered why I hadn't thought of it sooner. "Art of Clothes" – those three words captured exactly what I wanted to express. It was more than just a name; It was a promise. A promise that every piece of clothing, no matter how simple, would be a work of art in itself.

With Art of Clothes, I wanted to show that art doesn't just belong in galleries or on walls, but also in the clothes we wear every day. Every design, no matter how minimal, is an expression of creativity, of craftsmanship, of something bigger than just fashion. Even the simplest designs can be art—precisely because they embrace the essence of simplicity and in doing so, convey something universal and timeless.
